The Need

We all know the importance of reading books and how much it stands as a source of entertainment for the readers!
Despite that there is not a single proper bookstore anywhere...the ones I discover are either situated far away or only for schools...
Yes, maximum of the people does not read but the graph is gradually changing, it really is...I can't consider space or people as an impediment! We should inculcate the habit of reading in everyone...
Only if one witnesses and realizes the huge no of people who visit bookfairs every year, can confirm that the graph is changing.
There are bookstores at the airport but thats inaccessible until you're travelling. There are bookstores like Crossward and Starmark which again are not accessible for the people living far from the area...its impossible to spend hours to just reach a bookstore in a busy life! College Street in Kolkata is also one of the largest book markets.

Bookstore is not only a place of reading but also it plays a major role in connecting like minded people...communication developes...
A bookstore is an eyesome place for the readers...its a place where they relax, get motivated, they get happiness, its a comfort zone! Its magical world of one's own where they can sit and read for hours
It pleases oneself mentally and emotionally...
Online bookstores are a great rescue but they stand nowhere equivalent to discovering books in a bookstore!!!
Where is that unique, irreplaceable experience in online shopping...?
To be honest last time I went to a bookstore was months ago, probably a year ago...
There was a Crossward store which got replaced by a 'spa' in a shopping mall near me!
Bookstores are rapidly becoming rare and that ultimately is of no good to us
The environment a bookstore provides is unmatchable...
FOR GOD'S SAKE, bookfairs are still held every year, only then we somewhat kind of get a feel like the bookstores.

Here are some pictures of amazing bookstores you would love to visit:

Higginbothams, Chennai, India

Libreria, London

El Ateneo Grand Splendid, Argentina

Cărturești Carusel, Romania

Leaping Windows, Bangalore, India

Livraria Lello, Porto, Portugal
