If the Eyes could Speak

 I stared out of the window, at the trains passing by

The sun gleamed after days,

Suddenly I felt it, it hit me like a wave

The same yellow, acute and bright just like when I was nine

The same gleam with rays, as strong as lies just like when I was nine

A familiar warmth wrapped around

The only arms which dare to hold,

Me, my soul and my shredded folds

Every bits and pieces of my baneful being.

The only arms which dare to touch

The vulnerable beating of the baffled heart-

The only arms which dare to be

The only shelter to an empty me.

Is that all left to be?

Sunken lips with silent screams

Broken hands crushing dreams;

Restless eyes full of dread,

While the desolate heart aching to be read?
