Regina
REGINA
Those steps through the imperial door,
Thousands greeting in a loud uproar,
Petals of roses pouring down,
For the grand possession of the crown -
Staring with cataclysmic eyes...
Intimidating and darkly wise!
Bearing a humongous kilt,
She had her lost life rebuilt.
Stupendously gorgeous, jewelry bound,
As if Goddess Aphrodite aground!
The amber, burnished torso in a glare -
The skin radiated with a heavenly flare!
Darkest hair danced in the breeze,
Like the waves that never freeze.
She was worshiped, she was loved...
Who fought alone in the fire ring,
Was a Queen without a king!

ReplyDeleteScintillating phrases and agility in the narrative structure...the theme seems to present a majestic triumph of dignity which has been loftily handled by the noble style inbuilt. Good writing. Keep writing. Best of luck
