Rhythm Astray
Rhythm Astray
An amble along the way lined with larches,
Bathed in golden sun, garnished with vines,
Earth was graced, was cradled in shrine.
Trifling on the road, was a little girl,
With the grin of an angel.
Hands revealing stones of colour,
Like riven out morsels of the sunset sky!
A silky smile arose as I beamed at her
Silhouette against the tiring sun -
Sky adorned with flames of twilight.
I followed her trotting along,
Drape dancing with her dainty steps.
I failed to paint her, with colors of the past.
I stretched out my arms -
Trembling to reach the discernible absence
Hands met the breeze;
Enduring a change of seasons...
Peaks crowned with clouds
Moaned for mosses.
The dawn I ached for,
The touch I would burn for,
The glare I could perish for,
Was adrift -
Unconcious in the depths of calamities.
Abandoned was the hollow of my heart.
The muted await -
Ethereal mélange of dolor and euphoria.
Never will it heal
Never will it settle.
