The Amenity

It drives me far from reality,

Which is full of anxiety, pain and duality,

Takes me to the land of wonder...

Which is bereft of the cruel thunder.

It appeases me, consoles me,

No I don't know...

Why it influences such a magic on me!

Feels like I'm an integral part of it,

For the entire plot I am perfectly fit.

It ensures peace, love and joy,

For thousand hearts to enjoy.

And the characters become a part of me

As more and more I let it be.

But when a stately character dies, 

My broken soul forgets to strive!

It makes us laugh, it makes us cry,

It embeds humanity in an exquisite style!

Finally when it comes to the end,

It feels like I am losing a friend!

Artist is the writer here,

Who imparts love to the entire sphere!
